How to Zip and Upload a Demo

This is how I Zip demos to upload to various locations. This will come in handy when you go to submit or protest a ban at the PTC Bans.


Zipping

Step 1:

Download the WinRar application for your system.
-Direct links: Windows 32-bit Here, Windows 64-bit Here.

After the download has finished, install WinRar.


Step 2:

Find your Demo Files.



Step 3:

Select the Demo Files you want to zip and right click and select "Add to Archive".


Then, chose a name you want to use for the file.


And wait for the files to be zipped.



Final Product:

This is the file that you will use to upload to the internet.

Uploading

There are a few ways to upload a demo.

Option 1:

If you are submitting a ban using the PTC Ban Page, then use the upload function in the form you fill out.


Option 2:

If you have a suspect that you would like to post on the forums you can use the forum attach function.




Option 3:

You can choose to upload on another website and link it on the forums.
